i saw this title of an album on FB: the day before graduation. i think the maker of this, a graduating student--gasp! is he my former student in 2nd year? gasp!--had not known the vocabulary baccalaureate (service)
Baccalaureate is a farewell address in the form of a sermon delivered to a graduating class; a celebration which honors a graduating senior class. Like what happened last Thursday, I came late to the occasion, but there were still--great!--vacant (seat of some) pews. Parents and family members were there to cheer--and pray--the graduates--their graduates.
tongi and i (and my cadmium green or india green paypay--wow it rhymes!) saw each other and she narrated to me about the 500-peso bill in the context of giving it to the driver: eventually, she cascaded her apologies of not having some smaller coins!
