Lay and Lie are issues that a learned man must tackle. Once. Twice. Traumatic. Painful. Misspelled.
TO MAKE YOUR EASY LIFE EASIER: just think that you lay the LAY's (snack) on the cool chair or LAY-Z-SPA on the wooden floor.
Because Lay means "to place something down."
NEXT---its past tense, LAID (think about KOOL AID. as in LAID KOOL-AID. It rhymes!!!)...
Lie? Let's discuss it next meeting, i mean, blogging! Ciao, folks. Kalinihta (Good night in Greek!)
