last day, day with tokens for the mentors, glad day, day of speeches and program

the teachers, one by one, appeared towards the classroom. Their voices were animated that I'm sure that the practicumers were a little anxious about when to start the program. Waving, Greeting, breaking some smiles. On the board splashed the text "Goodbye, Good teachers!"

We were like characters found inside a mall--inside a shopping mall--because they had this school uniform while we had our prescribed dress!

The student teachers, then, one by one, gave their speeches: Thank you, Sir/Maam...

I got the awesome buzz on that event from Sir Marlon where he said with all sincerity that, " If you're not tough, don't teach!"

My mentee and her co-mentees really listened and looked at Sir Marlon rivetingly!

Teaching demands your temper, not only your Grammar Skills and King of Syntax, but how to deal with impatient kid, spank-challenged kid, boisterous kid, and some ten million permutations of personality of urban and pseudo-urban schoolers! Toughness + Guts + Vitamins = dedicated teacher !
