her book at national bookstore

Her name is Jodi Picoult. Let's ask Ask.com about the pronunciation of her surname.
The story concept of KEEPING THE FAITH is parents are divorced and their only child, Faith, is affected by that "breaking" news!
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Keeping Faith is about a little girl who, in the wake of a family crisis, develops an imaginary friend who turns out to be God. And female.

lesson today: prepare one-half

I saw this "notice" while online: Could not contact Blogger.com. Saving and Publishing may fail. Retrying...

Where's the parallelism? (Answer here in this space...)

CLUE: not an infinitive, not a participle, but a gerund!

up gas amount, sitting down

Yesterday, I discovered one life-fattening/life-enriching thing: sitting on the seawall on Transport Strike Day!

It is so refreshing because there is no black smoke of exhaust pipe, no strident engine sounds, and no uncouth drivers who run their liners like Spanish bulls!
The place is silent. I am afraid monks would discover the place and set their simple cabins there!
I have discovered that: the best time for hanging out by the seawall are (1) Christmas Day---post celebration (everyone is sleeping)....(2) New Year's (same reason as Xmas)...(3) when jeepneys are on strike!

GIVENCHY, WHERE ARE YOU...?

wrong! the name means a popular perfume! one of my fave scents in the world aside from safeguard soap classic, uncooked rice kernels, seabreeze (fronting my bedroom!), and turnip peelings (i've gone vegetarian, so there goes the reason, folks!.

When I was in China. I had this perfume (not the bottle above: click this for the review of this scent/cologne) and I wish I could buy one again.

i was looking for that perfume in mind but what popped out is this. am i getting the voice of my soul? his guiding voice? anyway, my perfume in china was givenchy rouge! my sutdents (students in typo error!) loved that great scent!

word whoa: queue (verb as well as noun)

Heard this on TV while I was minding my Tuesday uniform and my breakfast egg (boiled, later without salt) HE (Senator Panfilo "Ping" Lacson) queued up, he... I mean he was treated like any ordinary passenger. Fall in line=queue

FRENCH THIS TIME

Ca va? (sa vah) = HOW ARE YOU? I am happy that: I have come to terms, like eyeball to screenball, of getting some materials for my being a francophile = someone who loves anything French!

teacher's uniform

Who designed it? Vera Wang? Pitoy Moreno? I'm just telling some figure of speech. Not mocking or being sassy to the majority. I am hoping an icon or the best of the industry because teachers are heroes like Zorro, Ninoy, Sacajawea, and sim card ! Well, I did my research. Results from it? Loading... OK: so there is such a thing as National Uniform Committee or NUC. Wow, sort of Fashion Week Milan or some High fashion group in Tokyo or Manila. Here's the "cool" part: the textile materials come from Gretchen Barretto's stylist! Gotcha! I am just kidding your non-kiddable personality! OK. Serious, water please. The (ahem 2x) textile materials WERE TESTED BY the Philippine textile (that's capital T, you wango!) Research Institute of DOST or PTRI-DOST and found compliant to the Employees Uniform Quality Assurance Program or EUQAP. I am completely enlightened, reassured, floored, bagged, bloated, and, well, (kinda) secured by that technicality. I thought that teachers were, you know, in terms of uniform were just thrown to bubble wrappings. go to this: link for uniform
