Debacle. I got this while watching the storytelling type of a movie, HIGH FIDELITY, which is topbilled by my fave thespian in the person of John Cusack (his sister, Joan, who is a thespian too, is part of the flick too!). Debacle. John's character spoke about debacle on his latest girlfriend.

debacle. di bah kuhl. an ignominous--i mean--a sudden and ignominious failure (Google's pop-up meaning window) or it would also mean a fiasco. Spell fiasco. utter silence!
