IRREGULAR VERB FOR TODAY: S H E D

MY friend posted some thank-you note to his eternal help and driver; the said note was simple yet very admirable and I posted too my thoughts: one of the most poignant essays [i have] read recently...i almost SHED a tear.

a. shed    b. shedded  c. shad   d. shint

answer, letter D.  (tomatoes, please or that silence button) seriously, the answer is letter A.

in short: simple present, shed and simple past, shed, too.  until to its past participle.

mnemonics: SH + ED FOREVER!

examples:   1.  I have just shed some tears. Blame this to the 'teleserye' on the boob tube! (present perfect)

                  2. Every Tuesday, the enchanted tree shed its bark. Awesome tree! (simple present)

                  3. The bit player is shedding some light about the matter. (present participle)
